How do I keep her off the table but let her live in every room of the house?
-one very frustrated pug owner:(
*** Okay, I am now putting Py on the other side of the gate on the stairs while the kids eat. She has lost her kitchen privileges until the food is off the table. I am hoping that seeing what she is missing--- dropped snacks from the high chair she will rethink her table launching actions. Sadly, I am not sure this will work but at least it keeps her off the table. I also worry about her jumping off onto the tile and hurting her hips. Baby sis crawled over to the gate to visit her at one point, broke my heart but Snug on the table is not okay in this house. I have visions of Christmas dinner with Py standing in the middle gobbling the turkey!!
I will continue to look for solutions for Py.

I really have no clue....visit The Devil Dog and ask them how they keep Roxy the pug off the table because that dog gets into all kinds of stuff too.
Good Luck

Put Pyrite on a bus to Florida...I'll pick her up and she can stay at camp here! I really don't know what the answer is...sorry.
I'm glad you found a solution. One time Chichi got up on the dining room table by jumping in a chair that was pulled away from the table. We had just had Christmas dinner with lots of family over. she hate the rest of the stick of butter that was on the table. Her face was SLICK and oily. She did throw up but was okay. I'm with you...no dogs on the table.
